Q. How much will Achane Medical Billing, LLC services cost me?

Our prices vary depending on the volume, patient flow and specialty. We run a few analysis reports to get a clear view of your practice needs. We do charge based on a percentage of all things collected except for certain states that require flat rates.


Q. When can we expect payment when using your services?

All your money goes directly into your bank account. We set up EFT/ERA for you to allow direct deposit and we simply track it. Most insurances distribute payments once a week and your payment can be expected 10 days after your first claim is submitted.


Q. How do we make sure managed-care plans pay us according to the contracted rates?

AMB requests copies of your practice’s contract and related fee schedules when we’re setting up your account. We update our system’s profiles for each of those contracts. At the time of payment posting, we monitor expected reimbursement and appeal any underpayments and/or denials. When necessary, we directly contact your managed care representative to resolve any problems.


Q. How long does it take to get started?

At Achane Medical Billing, LLC we hit the ground running. The entire process can take up to three weeks. We have a transition team that handles all the details. We give you an official "live date" and we submit test claims prior to make sure everything is set up correctly. In the meantime, you are free to use your current system to allow for a steady flow of revenue.


Q. What if I do not have an EHR system? Do I need to get rid of my current EHR system?

If you do not have an EHR system, no worries. You can fax your claims over to our main office or mail them. If you would like to get started with an EHR system, we have one available at one cost. We handle all the transition and set up for you. If your currently use a EHR and would like to keep it, our Practice Mangement system can sync with over two dozen EHR systems! If your practice is using an All-in-One system, we simply login from our office remotely.


Q. Do I really need a billing company?

Yes. If you need to get your hair cut, you go to a salon or barber shop. If you need repairs done on your car, you take it to a auto repair shop. The difference is you know when you need a hair cut, sometimes you don't really know if your getting paid completely or not.
